It is approximately 130 centimeters high and so narrow that people cannot pass through it. This time, the setting is a small tunnel that crosses under the railway tracks in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture. When passing through, one has to bend forward. Even so, people are constantly coming and going, earning it the nickname “Mambo Tunnel” among locals. Some people go through it because it is the shortest way to go shopping, while others go through it because it is a bit thrilling and fun. For three days, we set up our cameras in this mysterious tunnel and listened to the voices of those who passed by.
