Після смерті матері юний бразилець Пако, що залишився без мети в житті і без гроша в кишені, вирішує поїхати до Іспанії, де він ніколи не був, але куди все своє життя мріяла повернутися його мати, що давним-давно виїхала у пошуках кращої частки. Щоб заробити на дорогу і потрапити на батьківщину матері, про яку він і сам мріяв, Пако погоджується на пропозицію контрабандиста Ігоря. Справа зовсім проста: перевезти до Лісабона якусь скрипку, передати і одержати гроші!
