Laxmibai decides not to tell Gangadhar anything until she gathers enough proof against the conspirators, so she says that even she does not know who they are, and that she only happened to see the bell falling on him. Meanwhile, Sakhubai and her accomplices hope that this time their pawn would not miss his target.Tatya Dixit assures the conspiring ladies that he has personally administered poison to Laxmibai, and she would not be able to save the king now.
