Ramen, dumplings, nira-reba set menus, and more. The stage is set at a Chinese restaurant that sells large portions. It is open 24 hours a day on the roadside in the suburbs of Tokyo where many cars pass by. Customers come in incessantly from early morning to late at night. A couple comes for ramen at 6 am. Young people visiting at 1:00 a.m. after a part-time job. Some mothers work through the night to support their families and get take-out on their way home. For three days, we observe the lives of these people as they emerge from their casual, everyday lives.
