The setting is a “24-hour dental clinic” in Fukuoka City. Patients enduring pain come in day and night. A salesman whose poor lifestyle has led to an increase in cavities. A college student whose improved dental hygiene has brought more smiles and a brighter personality. A man who lost his teeth in a fistfight in his youth reflects, “No matter how much I regret the past, my teeth won't come back.” On November 8 (Good Teeth Day), we explore the dramas surrounding teeth.
