Thrilling and eerie, Bellevue is a mystery set in a small blue-collar town with a lot of 'good people' who 'live right' and take it upon themselves to make sure the neighbours do too. Driving the series is Detective Annie Ryder (Anna Paquin), a cop whose intense and brazen personality has always been at odds with her hometown. When a transgender teen goes missing, Annie dives in to unravel the disappearance that suggests foul play, despite finding herself in a difficult position as she must cast suspicion on people she has known all her life. As the case pulls her further away from her family, she is also confronted by a mysterious person from her past with disturbing answers and a terrifying need to get inside her head.

Метт Шейді - перспективний хокеїст. Він вже досяг неймовірного успіху, за його плечима безліч забитих голів, престижних нагород, він любимо прихильницями і своєю країною. Метт уклав вигідний контракт, який обіцяє йому неймовірні прибутки. Проте несподівано для всіх хлопець приймає рішення покинути спорт і кардинально змінити рід своєї діяльності. І тут доля зводить колишню зірку спорту з Енджі Евереттом, неймовірно розумним і успішним детективом, після знайомства з яким Шейду приходить в голову ідея спробувати себе в ролі детектива. Незважаючи на відсутність досвіду і відповідної освіти Метта, Еверетт все-таки бере ініціативного хлопця до себе і вводить у курс справи приватного розшуку.

Despite the idyllic location of Cory’s isolated and luxurious country house, the family soon realize they have made a mistake in going there. Someone has been using the house in their absence. Their unwanted house guests will soon reveal themselves and the family will find itself caught up in a fight for their lives. A Vancouver based murder has just occurred and been discovered. At the beginning of each episode, not only is the victim(s) identified to the viewer, but also the killer(s). The disparate group of Vancouver Homicide detectives, with help from the Coroner's office, have to wade through the evidence which will lead them through the more often than not less than straightforward path to discovering the killer(s) and his/her/their motive. That motive often is not fully understood by the detectives until they catch the killer(s). One of those detectives, quick witted and acerbic tongued Angie Flynn, often has the competing priority of raising her son, Manny, as a single mother.
