The basic plot revolves around drug dealer Limeni (Tin Man) who is said to have no heart, and two men, Lemi and Kiza, who are trying to transport their dead grandfather for burial, until their car breaks down and they end up struggling to get him home onboard a train. Хорватка Анна та серб Тома дружили з дитинства. Вони закохалися, а вже дорослими вирішили побратися. Весільна церемонія відбувалась напередодні війни. Проїжджаючи на машині всі бачили три групи демонстрантів: хорватів, сербів і югославів. Спочатку конфлікт не сприймався серйозно. Але він наростав. Невдовзі Тома йде на фронт. Під час битви за Вуковар вагітна Ана з батьками змушена була покинути будинок. У місті йде запекла битва: будинки руйнують, людей вбивають. Хто вижив залишились без їжі та даху над головою, бо місто стало суцільною руїною. Переживаючи страхи та знущання, Ана народжує живу дитину.
Сюжет

The story of a ten years old boy who, as most of the children in Yugoslavia of the fifties can hardly imagine his life without the great national leader - marshal Tito. In his school, he wins the contest for the best Tito's composition. His reward is the participation in "Tito's native land" march. He claims in his work that he loves Tito more than his Dad and Mom, which makes them desperate. He does not understand what is so confusing and weird in his love towards the leader. This march will be a difficult temptation for him. Unaccustomed to nature, walks and independent living, harassed by the teacher, Stalinist, he fails, gets lost in the mountain and his life changes.
