Майкл Медсен — американський актор, відомий за фільмами «Скажені пси», «Доні Браско», «Місто гріхів», «Убити Білла».
Народився 25 вересня 1958 року в Чикаго, штат Іллінойс, у сім'ї пожежника Кальвіна Медсена і Елейн, поетеси і телевізійного продюсера. Мати актора навіть вигравала «Еммі» за свою роботу на ТБ, але пішла з цього бізнесу, щоб зосередитися на поезії. Батьки батька майбутнього актора емігрували з Данії, у матері тече суміш ірландської та індіанської крові. Сестра Майкла Вірджинія Медс ... ен також стала акторкою.
