Чарівна і розпещена багачка з вищого суспільства збирається вийти заміж за "ідеального" чоловіка, службовця свого батька, який робить це явно ради вигоди. Але тут з'являється її колишній чоловік разом з репортерами, які повинні освітлювати це весілля в пресі. Кар'єрист-жених предстає в найгіршому світлі, а колишній чоловік, природно, повертає дружину, що прозріла і порозумнішала. Але головне в цьому мюзиклі, звичайно, пісні Кола Портеру і неповторний Луї Армстронг.
Сюжет
