Немолодого диктатора Ґватемали звинувачують в геноциді початку 1980-х років, коли масово знищувалося корінне населення країни — індіанці кекчі. Невелика група вцілілих жінок виступає в суді, після чого виноситься обвинувальний вирок. В очікуванні апеляції диктатор з сім'єю, особистою охороною і відданою економкою замикається в своєму особняку, а протестувальники влаштовують облогу. Решта прислуга принципово звільнилася, тому економка викликає на підмогу дівчину зі свого села.Сюжет
