Еґсі — молодий хлопака, який пройшов вишкіл у морській піхоті і геть не дурний. Він міг би домогтися багато чого, але вибрав інший шлях і став дрібним злочинцем. Якось він знайомиться з Гаррі Гартом, якому його батько колись врятував життя. Гарт вирішує зробити усе, щоб покращити життя Еґсі і відкрити для нього нові обрії.
