Але щораз зазнавав поразки, поки йому на допомогу не прийшла відьма Гагар, яка обернулась крилатою космічною богинею і заманила Вольтрона в пастку. Вона вдарила його сильним зарядом енергії, проте не змогла знищити велетня. Її удар розщепив його на п’ять левів, які повернулись до Арусу і впали в сплячку.
