Молода жінка на ім’я Анна разом зі своєю сім’єю завдяки пристойному фінансовому становищу має можливість зупинитися у своєму заміському будинку, але, на свій подив і обурення, головна героїня виявляє, що її дім зайнятий сторонніми особами, які відчайдушно шукали притулку. Глава сім’ї спробував повернути свої володіння, але був жорстоко розстріляний. Не на жарт перелякана Анна тікає. У неї немає іншого виходу, як оселитися серед волоцюг та біженців, які живуть у брудних та антисанітарних умовах на залізничній станції.
