Ернст Вільгельм «Вім» Вендерс. — став відомим на міжнародному рівні як один з піонерів світового кіна у 1970-х роках і вважається однією з найважливіших постатей у сучасному німецькому кінематографі. Вім Вендерс вивчав медицину та філософію, перш ніж переїхав у Париж 1966 року, щоб вивчати живопис. Олег Сенцов – український режисер, активіст Євромайдану і уродженець Криму. Після анексії півострова Росією він став активним супротивцем окупації. У травні 2014 року ФСБ заарештувало Сенцова, звинуватило його у плануванні терактів і вивезло до Москви. Після року ув’язнення його було засуджено до 20 років колонії – попри те, що свідоцтва з боку звинувачення були надані під тиском, а докази у справі – відсутні. Олег Сенцов своєї провини не визнає. Режисер фільму Аскольд Куров стежить за процесом суду і спробами сім’ї Олега, його друзів та адвокатів звільнити режисера з в’язниці.
