Вибравши це місце, автори змогли проникнути в саму сутність шедеврів фламандських майстрів, таємниці застиглих життів, глибину їх сподівань та гумору. І, мабуть, тому, що "Героїчна кермесса" поєднала в собі уяву та вигадку з блиском радості та доброго гумору журі GRAND PRIX DU CINEMA відзначило його високою нагородою.
