А одного разу на галявині, куди привела його мати, Бембі познайомився з маленькою веселою оленихою - Фейлін. Але життя в лісі буває небезпечним і жорстоким. Вперше Бембі зіткнувся з цим, коли прозоре осіннє лісове повітря прошили постріли рушниць - всі звірі почали в паніці тікати, і тоді Бембі вперше почув страшне слово - Людина.
