However, when he calls upon prominent citizen Mr. Latham, he is neither jovial or eccentric, he is out for revenge.

Едмона Дантеса, молодого капітана, заздрісники навмисно звинувачують у зраді і кидають до в'язниці замку Іф, де він повинен провести все життя.
