Історія доктора медицини і політика Франтішка Кріґеля, одного з героїв Празької весни 1968 року. 21-го серпня Кріґеля разом з п'ятьма провідними представниками партії і держави (Дубчек, Чернік, Смрковський, Шпачек і Шімон) було заарештовано та вивезено до Москви. У московському полоні Кріґель знайшов у собі сили протистояти тиску КДБ і особисто Генсека Лєоніда Брєжнєва.
