Через п’ять портретів членів своєї родини та наставників режисерка розповідає особисту історію свого життя, яка водночас стає історією її країни.Спираючись на родині архіви, домашні відеозаписи, кадри вуличних протестів, газетні матеріали та усні свідчення, вона відтворює понад чотири десятиліття історії Ірану. Від перших днів Революції до війни, що розпочалася у 2026 році, вона поєднує особисті та колективні спогади, створюючи проникливий портрет країни, яка пережила політичні репресії, але не втратила надії на краще майбутнє.

Arriving in Iran, Yasmin, who hardly knew her father, is surprised to discover that he left her all the inheritance. a short and unwanted stay in her father's hometown and meetings with those who knew him make her rethink concepts such as life, death and human nature.
