“Тувалу” – перевалочний пункт, своєрідна “країна німих”, на шляху Чулпан Хаматової у пошуках омріяної нею та Діною Корзун “країни глухих”, де всі до одного щасливі. На деяку мить здається, що цей непевний об’єкт тотального бажання вже десь поруч. З’ясовується, що в “Тувалу” в умовинах повної антисанітарії біля занедбаного басейну, також можна бути щасливими. Але не така наша Чулпан – щастя, що поруч, їй не потрібне. Вона напружує всю свою акторську майстерність задля того, аби глядач зрозумів, що її героїня заслуговує на боротьбу і перемогу. Чулпан виразно закочує оченята, морщить чарівне личко і активно жестикулює. Розмовляти – не розмовляє, бо тексту в неї небагацько, власне, як і в решти з персонажів. Вони розуміють одне одного без слів у своїй спільній справі “дурнебайдикування”. Але про що йдеться у стрічці, розтлумачити не так уже й просто. Тим, хто бажає зрозуміти драматургійний розвиток подій у фільмі, я б рекомендувала розпочати з вивчення “норм безпеки поводження на воді”. Змісту (сенсу) в цих правилах не більше, ніж у картині, однак у ній також йдеться про водні забавки.Ірина Побєдоносцева
