The evil Shadow Lord has taken control of the kingdom of Deltora and has driven the land and its people into misfortune and suffering. Lief, the son of a blacksmith, has just turned sixteen and is entrusted, along with his two companions Barda and Jasmine, with an important mission: to retrieve the stolen seven magical stones that once reunited within the Belt of Deltora, will bring power to the true heir of Deltora and give him the power to free the kingdom from the tyranny of the Shadow Lord. There is just one problem; the seven stones have been scattered all across Deltora and currently reside in the hands of seven wicked men who are not easily willing to give them up.

За стародавніх часів існувало велике царство Джюшин. Надійною опорою його могутнього володаря були таємні гонці, озброєні не тільки мужністю і силою, але і дивною здатністю залучати собі в допомогу непохитну армію воїнів-примар. Цих гінців звали Амен-оса. З незапам'ятних часів вони мандрували по світу, рятуючи людей від оков зла, відновлюючи закон і справедливість. Коли в епоху смути царство Джюшин пало, здавалося, що легендарні Амен-оса зійшли у небуття.

While exploring ruins on Angel Island, a doctor finds a myserious newborn bird called Kyoro-chan. Together they form a bond and decide to travel the world together. Three years later when the Doctor and Kyoro-chan try to return to Angel Island they become shipwrecked from a storm. Kyoro-chan was able to make it safely to the island but the Doctor was nowhere to be found. Kyoro-chan prays for his safety and hope he returns as he now starts his new life on Angel Island.

Сюжет, встановлений в основу «Ізгоїв», багато в чому схожий з сюжетом свого побратима і заснований на міжпланетних пригодах команди різношерстих героїв, метою яких є піймання різного роду шахраїв і мерзотників, а також пошуку легендарного скарбу. Як водиться, шахраї і мерзотники створюють головним героям проблеми, чим закономірно розтягують серіал рівно на 26 серій, а скарб є світлою крапкою, що маячить на горизонті і своєчасно серіал обриваючою. Іншими словами, побудова цілком типова, але нічого незвичайного в цьому немає.

Сюжет, встановлений в основу «Ізгоїв», багато в чому схожий з сюжетом свого побратима і заснований на міжпланетних пригодах команди різношерстих героїв, метою яких є піймання різного роду шахраїв і мерзотників, а також пошуку легендарного скарбу. Як водиться, шахраї і мерзотники створюють головним героям проблеми, чим закономірно розтягують серіал рівно на 26 серій, а скарб є світлою крапкою, що маячить на горизонті і своєчасно серіал обриваючою.
