Колись Марину звали Даніель, і вона була чоловіком. Але як би вона не змінювалася зовні, всередині вона все одно жінка. І через десять днів вона відправиться зі своїм коханим, Орландо Онетті, на водоспади Ігуасу. Життя вносить свої корективи: Орландо прокидається з сильним головним болем, Марина встигає довезти його до лікарні, але виявляється пізно. Орландо мертвий, а Марину підозрюють в його смерті. З цього моменту для жінки починається низка принижень.
