Сюжет

1830 рік. 20-річний Фредерік Шопен покидає понівечену війною Польщу, щоб спробувати щастя в модному і фривольному Парижі. Прихильність меценатів і впливових друзів робить Шопена перлиною світських салонів, відкриваючи йому шлях до слави. У Парижі він знайомиться зі скандально знаменитою письменницею Жорж Санд.
