Сюжет

Герой цього фільму Стів Гарден - найбільш безглуздий служитель закону в світі! Цього неметкого хлопця навіть близько не можна було допускати до роботи в правоохоронних органах. А тим більше доручати йому відповідальну посаду офіцера по нагляду за випущеними на поруки кримінальниками. Після ганебного звільнення з поста наглядача нашого "доблесного" стража порядку чекає нове призначення - в поліцію Манчестера. В один з перших днів служби Стів стає свідком жорстокого вбивства. І, що найстрашніше, - злочин холоднокровно зробив провідний інспектор поліції. Як бути? На щастя, почуття справедливості офіцера Гардена здобуває перемогу над його недосконалостями. Стів вирішує посадити лиходія за ґрати. Але для того, щоб найповажніший сищик міста і корумпований бандит в одному флаконі постав перед судом, потрібні вагомі докази. І Гарден знаходить їх. Головним доказом є касета, на якій з камер стеження записалося страшне вбивство. Цей доказ ховають у сейфі престижного банку. Герой вирішує викрасти касету і звертається за допомогою до своїх колишніх підопічних - грабіжників ...
