Сюжет

Присуджений до шести років в'язниці, Малік Ель Джебена здається на тлі інших ув'язнених самим «зеленим» і самим уразливим. Йому 19 років. Він не вміє не писати, не читати. За стінами в'язниці в нього немає близьких.
Усе міняється, коли Лучано, лідер авторитетної банди корсиканців, вирішує доручити Маліку ряд небезпечних і ризикованих місій… Виконання кожної із цих «місій» під пресингом корсиканців могло б зломити кого завгодно, але не його. Кожне завдання загартовує Маліка. Він швидко вчиться життя в новому для себе світі.

In 1988, after much cunning political maneuvering, Loïk Le Floch-Prigent and Alfred Sirven become the chief executives at Elf. They discover a company that runs on kickbacks: in exchange for the oil rights, Elf makes handsome but discreet payoffs to the leaders of African nations. With the tacit complicity of President Mitterrand, and with eventual political and personal interests in mind, the new management takes charge of the slush fund.
