На хвилі тріумфу кінофільмів (яких на той час зняли вже чотири) з'явився молодший брат першого серіалу. У світі «Зоряного Шляху» минуло 80 років. Змінився екіпаж, удосконалилися технології, змінився навіть Ентерпрайз. Залишилися тільки знайоме й улюблене нам ім'я корабля та мета його команди – смілови прямувати туди, де не ступала нога людини!
