Thirty years ago in Yeserías, the former Madrid women's prison, a civil servant and graduated from Drama School named Elena Cánovas founded 'Teatro Yeses', a drama company formed by female inmates. This is the story of their journey. And it is as well a meditation on the therapeutic and liberating character of drama, whose practice has helped women to get in touch with their emotions. As well as an education, theater gave them the ability to fend for themselves.
