У „Жасмині” світ представлено очима п’ятирічної дівчинки Ґені, дочки реставраторки Наташі, яка потрапила до дивовижного монастиря, де монахи наділені незвичайними рисами. Кожен з них має власний фруктовий запах – один пахне черемхою, другий – черешнею, третій – сливою, і цим ароматам притаманні особливі властивості, бо притягують до себе жінок. Наташа крім свого основного фаху, займається ще й компонуванням парфумів і прагне створити свій аромат кохання. Та чи заради цього вона приїхала до монастиря, чи є ще щось, про що вона нікому не говорить?
