Єврейська община маленького румунського села збирається побудувати справжній потяг і бігти на ньому від нацистів до Палестини.До процесу євреї підходять серйозно і діловито - всім селом збирають гроші на потяг, голять бороди, вивчають німецький і репетирують ролі власних гнобителів. Їх волею до життя і незламним бажанням вижити потяг стає на рейки і відправляється в довгу, неймовірну подорож, повну небезпек, розчарувань, відчаю і абсурду...
Сюжет
Суворе літо 1941 року. Єврейська община маленького румунського села збирається побудувати справжній потяг і бігти на ньому від нацистів до Палестини.До процесу євреї підходять серйозно і діловито - всім селом збирають гроші на потяг, голять бороди, вивчають німецький і репетирують ролі власних гнобителів. Їх волею до життя і незламним бажанням вижити потяг стає на рейки і відправляється в довгу, неймовірну подорож, повну небезпек, розчарувань, відчаю і абсурду...
