The driver becomes a high rank revolutionary and with this power incarcerates the couple. Sahel for 30 years and Mina for 10 years. After 10 years Mina is released and asks for the whereabouts of Sahel. She is told that Sahel has died. Meanwhile, the driver proposes her to stay with him. They travel together to Istanbul. After a further 20 years passes, Sahel is released. Then, he begins the search for his old lover.

Mamo, an old and legendary Kurdish musician living in Iran, plans to give one final concert in Iraqi Kurdistan. After seven months of trying to get a permit and rounding up his ten sons, he sets out for the long and troublesome journey in a derelict bus, denying a recurring vision of his own death at half moon. Halfway the party halts at a small village to pick up female singer Hesho, which will only add to the difficulty of the undertaking, as it is forbidden for Iranian women to sing in public, let alone in the company of men. But Mamo is determined to carry through, if not for the gullible antics of the bus driver.

Сюжет фільму будується на подіях, які розвиваються в курдському таборі для біженців, розташованому на турецько-іракському кордоні напередодні вторгнення коаліційних сил до Іраку в 2003 році. 13-річний Сателіт (Соран Ебрахім), який розуміє англійську, зайнятий установкою антен для жителів місцевих сіл, які бажають дивитися теленовини і знати про можливий початок війни.У цей час в таборі з'являються безрукий хлопець (Хіреш Фесал Рахман) з дівчиною (Аваз Латіф) та зі сліпим малюком (Абдул Рахман Карим) на ім'я Рига. Безрукий хлопець, якого звати Хенгов, за чутками, має дар ясновидіння. Головний герой закохується в супутницю Хенгова — мовчазну і сувору Агрін, яка приходиться останньому рідною сестрою.
