Сюжет
В Іспанії адвокат і виробник сонячних панелей Мане́ль та його кохана дружина Юлія відвідують його сестру Белен і її родину напередодні Різдва. Повертаючись додому, вони мають розмову, яка закінчується автомобільною аварією, в якій Юлія гине. Через рік Мане́ль перебуває в депресії і живе сам зі своїм котом Лукулом у Галісії. Він не звертає уваги на спалах вірусу ТСЖ в Європі, який є навіть більш летальним, ніж Covid-19.Військовий чоловік Белен, Маріо, успішно перевозить Белен і їхнього маленького сина Карлоса на Канарські острови і запрошує Мане́ля приєднатися до них. Але іспанський уряд закриває кордони, намагаючись стримати вірус, який перетворює людей на агресивних зомбі. Белен і Маріо радять Мане́лю залишитися вдома і ігнорувати урядові укриття, де ймовірність зараження є вищою. Але у Мане́ля залишилося лише кілька невеликих запасів, і незабаром йому потрібно буде грабувати, починаючи свою боротьбу за виживання.
