Thanks to a script stolen from assistant director Udayabhanu, Rajappan Thengummoodu becomes superstar Saroj Kumar overnight. Udayan is left heart-broken but fate comes in the form of Babykuttan who wants to produce a movie with Udayan in the director's seat. And when Superstar Saroj Kumar starts working in the film, things looked to be in the right track. But when the project nears completion, Saroj walks out from the project due to an ego clash with Udayan. Now Udayan must shoot the rest of the movie without the knowledge of Saroj leading the movie to an exciting climax.

Сюжет
Royal Circus, owned by Govindan, is on rocks. With the help of his manager Khader, Govindan just manages to run the company, though not in a satisfactory manner. All the members of the troupe live as a family, sharing intimate bonds of love and camaraderie. Babu, the favorite of the troupe is the clown of Royal Circus. He has learned the perfect art of masking his sorrows behind the clown's ever laughing mask. He has been there in the troupe ever since his childhood, looking after the other children, especially Govindan's daughter Kamala. And Govindan has always been saying that Babu is to be his heir and is to marry Kamala. And of course Babu, deep in his heart, has feelings of love for Kamala.The movie takes a turn when Sudheer Misra, the young son of Padmini, a former member of the troupe makes his entry into the camp. Sudheer's arrival marks the beginnings of change. He steers the company out of its crisis and gives it a new form and name as New Royal Circus.

His lack of values stems from bitter childhood memories of his mother deserting his father. His eccentricities vary from picking up drunken brawls with strangers to wanting to experience 'interesting' things in life like being handcuffed by the police. Winds of change gush into his lonely life when he agrees to play host to his friend Scaria's (Nedumudi Venu) family for the vacation. Scaria's brood of mischievous kids take a liking to Rajeev. As they tear his palatial house down, they also make him realize what he's been missing in life. Once they leave, he feels a void in his existence which he intends to fill by adopting a child. When he is denied adoption due to his wayward ways, his friend Dr. Hameed (Sukumaran) suggests artificial insemination as a way of procuring his own progeny. He also introduces him to Annie (Rekha) whose willing to bear his child in exchange of money to fund the surgery of her wheel chair bound husband Chandradas (Murali). The deal is sealed. Annie gets pregnant. Changes occur in Rajeev, some subtle and others glaring - he quits drinking, takes an interest in work, becomes a socially acceptable gentleman. All in the effort to become a responsible Father to his yet unborn child. But once the child is born, Annie gets too attached to the infant to give him up.
