Сюжет
У престижному коледжі Мермона відбувається вбивство Летіциї Берг, однієї з кращих вихованок. Вранці її знайшли задушеною і зв'язаною в спальні, де знаходилися ще 17 дівчаток. На розслідування цієї справи приїжджає інспектор Дезіре Мазко. Він був викликаний комісаром Брошем, який почав вести цю справу, але потім передав Мазко, тому що, як він вважає, той більше підходить для ведення справи в коледжі, де живуть і вчаться 18 чарівних дівчаток. Директриса закладу запевняє інспектора, що дівчинку убив бродяга, який заліз з вулиці в спальню...
Сюжет

Having lost his memory due to serving in World War I, Gaston has spent the past 15 years in a psychiatric hospital. Due to his large disability pension fund, several families claim him as their missing son. Gaston is introduced to the Renaud family by the Duchess Dupont-Dufort and her lawyer.
