Сюжет
Елізабет - зірка успішного кулінарного шоу та автор кількох кулінарних книг. Але останнім часом її шоу вже не таке популярне, як раніше. Вихід знаходить продюсер телешоу Олександр Ярдлі, побачивши в розділі новин Джефферсона Джонса, який працює звичайним лісником. Джефферсон став відомий завдяки тому, що під час сніжної бурі в горах врятував хлопчика. Зараз Джефферсон мріє про те, щоб для нього хто-небудь спеціально приготував Різдвяний обід. Олександр розуміє, що це шанс повернути втрачені рейтинги, тому вирішує зробити нову телепередачу, в якій Елізабет повинна зустріти Джефферсона у будинку в своєму рідному штаті Коннектикут, нагодувати героя Різдвяних обідом. Але насправді подарунок приготовлений для героя-лісника просто фальшивка - будинок для свята спеціально орендований, члени сім'ї Елізабет - це співробітники її телешоу та її друзі.
