JUMPERS follows 21-year-old equestrian athlete SKYLAR WIREMAN as she - against all odds - contends for a spot at the 2028 Olympics in a sport dominated by wealth and long-defined by the same elite, predominantly male, riders who have held Olympic team positions for decades. Without major financial backing, Skylar has built her career riding horses that aren’t her own, earning opportunities through her ability to quickly adapt and build trust with each new horse. Filmed over the course of two years and three different countries, JUMPERS captures what it means for a young athlete to chase her Olympic dreams and how much she is willing to sacrifice in order to make it.
