Після подій "Книги цирку", репутація юного «пса королеви» Сіеля Фантомгайва опиняється під питанням. Щоб перевірити його лояльність, королева Вікторія влаштовує бенкет у його маєтку для високопоставлених гостей, серед яких — відомий автор детективів Артур Конан Дойл.Проте святкування перетворюється на нічний жах: у розпал бурі в маєтку одного за іншим знаходять мертвих гостей.
