Так народився новий і надзвичайно популярний різновид катання. Хлопці ж, пізнавши мить слави, пішли різними шляхами: хтось зробив кар’єру у шоу-бізнесі, а хтось залишився на дні, з якого і починав... Сильна молодіжна драма з добрими акторськими роботами, яка висвітлює багато проблем періоду дорослішання і при цьому дає картину миттєвого розвитку нового різновиду спорт-екстриму та його перетворення на національний феномен. Покійний Леджер виконав тут одну зі своїх менш відомих, але водночас найкращих ролей (критики назвали його виконання тонкою пародією на Вела Кілмера).
