Сюжет

26 липня крейсер «Індіанаполіс» доставив атомну бомбу «Малюк» на острів Тініан. 6 серпня 1945 року американський військовий літак Б-29 «Енола Гей», пілотований Томасом Феребі, злетів з Тініана. А в 8:15 по місцевому часу цей літак скинув бомбу на японське місто Хіросіма. Бомба потужністю 20 тис. тонн тротилового еквіваленту вибухнула на висоті 600 метрів над містом…
Це була не просто військова операція, а демонстрація сили США, в результаті якої до кінця 1945 року в Хіросімі загинули близько 140 тисяч чоловік, - майже половина населення міста.
