Сюжет

Працівник архіву поліції на пенсії Генрик Мікось взяв за честь розкривати покинуті справи та притягувати винних до відповідальності. Роками Генрік аналізував файли і... терпляче чекав. Завдяки збігу обставин в архіві, який Генрик вважає своїм королівством, опинилася молода амбітна поліцейська Зуза Василюк. Генрик робить Зузу своїм таємним напарником у кримінальних розслідуваннях, а коли потрібно – озброєною рукою.

It is a story about the fate of the multigenerational Winny family, woven into the dramatic events of the 20th century. The action begins with the outbreak of WWI and ends after one hundred years, in modern times. The series tells an extremely emotional story about the strength of family ties, love, sacrifice and deeply hidden family secrets. It is also an insightful portrait of Polish society depicted against the background of the turbulent 100-year history of Polish statehood. The long years of WWI, the Polish-Bolshevik war of 1920, and the Spanish flu epidemic have severely affected the Winny family. In front of the family members and with their participation, an independent Polish state is reborn. Despite the differences in characters, professions, and the tragedies they face, they try to stay together. Years pass, the family elders die but support and mutual respect remain, becoming an inseparable part of the lives of future generations.

Сюжет (англ.)

Inspired by the book "The Skeleton Crew" by Deborah Halber and infused with the personal story of producer Wendy West. The series follows the life of a thirty-year-old woman (Ola Serafin) who is forced by circumstances to leave her husband and London, and return to her hometown of Lódz. While driving her car one night, she witnesses a dramatic situation which looks like suicide, but which she finds highly suspicious. The police seem to be indifferent to the case. Desperate, Ola looks for help on the Internet, where she finds a group of amateur detectives that solve criminal cases the police are unable to.
