Bruce Li discovers a hidden stash of gold while scuba diving, he and his friends divide it up between them. The gang who stole the gold track Bruce and his friends down one by one slowly getting back what they believe to be their property.

Молодий хлопчина потрапляє за грати за вбивство злодія. Його оселюють разом зі смертником, якого бояться усі інші мешканці в`язниці. Цей виявляється майстром кунг-фу і після того, як він побив хлопця, все-таки мириться з ним і дає йому половину амулета. Ця половина разом з іншою половиною мають відкрити шлях до місця, де зберігається стародавня книга, що оповідає про стиль гібона.Під час втечі з в`язниці хлопчина виявляється прикутий ланцюгами до іншого втікача. І так виявляється, що друга половина амулета знаходиться у його "компаньона".
Отримавши стародавній підручник з кунг-фу, двоє втікачів починають вивчати стиль гібона. Але по їхньому сліду йде банда на чолі з ватажком клану Чорних Пантер, який мріє помститися власникові амулета за смерть свого батька...
