Португалія, 90-ті. Успішний архітектор Томє Серпа готується відкрити свій найбільший проєкт — торговельний центр, що має закріпити його статус зірки професії. Та за фасадом респектабельного сім’янина він веде потаємне життя: заводить численні сексуальні зв’язки і таємно знімає інтимні зустрічі без згоди партнерок. Кароліна, акторка і його коханка, вважає себе єдиною, доки не дізнається правду. Ображена й принижена, вона знаходить несподівану союзницю в Ельзі — секретарці Томє, яка також має власні причини для помсти. Разом вони планують викриття саме в момент тріумфу, коли будь-який удар стане найболючішим.
Сюжет
