Сюжет (англ.)

The story is about the people in - and around - the cosy cafÃ© Trinidad in the Copenhagen canal street, Nyhavn ("New Harbour"). The owner, Joakim Nielsen, runs the place as a second home for the regular customers. The gangster mr. Schwartz is trying to take over the cafÃ©, in order to turn it into a gambling club, but Joakim Nielsen won't sell. When Joakim Nielsen dies he leaves the cafÃ© to his niece on the condition that she herself takes leadership of the cafÃ©. But Schwartz is still plotting to take over using blackmail and other gangster methods. And now all the regular customers have to join forces in order to save cafÃ© Trinidad.
