Сюжет
Життя артиста кіно полосате як зебра — запаморочливий успіх чергується з поразками. Для Тоні Хантера, викинутого з Голлівуду, настав період забуття. Але, слава богу, що у хлопця є вірні друзі: Лестер і Лілі. Вони вмовляють Тоні випробувати удачу на сцені в постановці бродвейського мюзиклу. Після низки невдач, він бере участь в Нью-Йоркському шоу, але і тут все проти нього, і прима балерина, і ревнивий хореограф, який його просто ненавидить.
