Cole Harden just doesn't look like a horse thief, Jane-Ellen Matthews tells Judge Roy Bean as she steps up to the bar. Cole says he can't take it with him as he empties all of his coins on the bar to buy drinks for the jury. He notices two big pictures of Lily Langtry behind the bar. Sure, Cole has met the Jersey Lily, whom the hanging judge adores, even has a lock of her hair. Hanging is delayed for two weeks, giving Cole time to get in the middle of a range war between cattlemen and homesteaders and to still be around when Lily Langtry, former mistress of Edward VII who became an international actress, arrives in Texas.

Випадково знайшовши на розпродажі 16 міліметрову копію фільму «На схід від Борнео» з Роуз Гобарт у головній ролі, Корнел був настільки зачарований акторкою, що вирізав з фільму всі кадри, де її не було. До тих, що залишилися, режисер додав кадри з фільму про сонячне затемнення і перемонтував це все в окрему короткометражку, яку назвав на честь виконавиці головної ролі — «Роуз Гобарт». Також Корнел видалив оригінальний саундтрек, а замість нього додав дві пісні з платівки бразильского співака Нестора Амарала, купленої в тому ж магазині мотлоху. Під час показів режисер умисно пропускав проєкцію через блакитне скло та уповільнював плівку до швидкості, з якою демонструють німе кіно (16 кадрів на секунду проти 24 у звуковому). Це надавало кадрам зі звичайного пригодницького фільму відтінку сюрреалістичності та таємничості.

After signing papers to take over a ruined abbey near London, Dracula drives Renfield mad and commands obedience. Renfield escorts the boxed count on a death ship to London. From there, the Count is introduced into the society of his neighbor, Dr. Seward, who runs an asylum. Dracula makes short work of family friend, Lucia Weston, then begins his assault on Eva Seward, the doctor's daughter. A visiting expert in the occult, Van Helsing, recognizes Dracula for who he is, and there begins a battle for Eva's body and soul.
