If a tree falls in a forest, it’s one thing, but if all the trees fall we have a massive problem. Planting a tree is good for the climate, but the forest industry isn’t necessarily clean. A standardized, industrial forest is a silent forest, until it’s ripe for harvesting, at which point it turns into a motorshow frenzy of mega machines. THE TIME OF FORESTS is a journey through French forestry and a thoughtful look at humanity’s relationship with forests and how they are managed – from big business to diversity on a smaller, but no less important scale.Час лісів (2018)
