Діна була ще зовсім маленькою, коли нещастя, що трапилося з її вини, назавжди відвернуло від неї батька. Дівчинка жила в щонайповнішій самоті, і лише турбування друга сім'ї Джейкоба змогло зупинити її прогресуюче безумство.Діна виросла і перетворилася на красуню, але так і залишилася для всих дивною дівчиною, від якої можна чекати найнеймовірніших витівок. Проте закоханого в неї Джейкоба це не лякало не дивлячись на значну різницю у віці і громадську думку, він одружується на Діні.
Сюжет
