Маленьке мавпеня Санні від народження живе у просторому зоопарку. Тут є все, чого могла б бажати мавпяча душа, проте для Санні цього недостатньо. Він мріє про велике місто та великі пригоди. Якось йому таки випадає нагода і він опиняється у Нью-Йорку. Мавпеня мріяло не лише про пригоди. Не погано було б знайти тут друзів, та це виявляється не так вже й просто. Але ті, кого він зустріне, дійсно змінять його життя. Тікаючи від людей, які не готові прийняти нового городянина, Санні натрапляє на злого велетня. Ця істота прагне руйнувань і хаосу. Мало хто готовий вступити з ним у двобій, та Санні не злякався. Адже це Нью-Йорк – місто, де немає нічого неможливого для того, хто вірить у свої сили. Ну і у допомогу друзів, куди ж без них!
