Тоді "наречений" розкриває свої справжні наміри, схиляючи Сабіну до написання регулярних доносів і спостерігання за її директором, в якого вона є улюбленицею. Коли вона відмовляється, Броніслав цілковито скидає маску. Сабіна змушена позбутися його в доволі несподіваний спосіб.
