Одного ранку Сара стає жертвою нападу під час своєї звичної пробіжки. Минув рік, але жахливі спогади не відпускають її. За порадою психотерапевта вона погоджується на незвичайний метод лікування — спеціальний «комфортний» робот має допомогти їй поступово звільнитися від неконтрольованих флешбеків. Так у житті Сари з’являється андроїд на ім’я Раптус. Спершу він стає для неї підтримкою й надійним компаньйоном, проте з часом терапія перестає давати очікуваний результат. У прагненні подолати власний страх Сара починає випробовувати межі стосунків з Раптусом. Але гра з кордонами переростає у небезпечну спіраль, і тепер їй доведеться використати всі внутрішні сили, аби вижити…
