Сюжет

Дванадцятирічна Маллі втратила маму й дізнається, що батько в боргах і витрачає гроші, які вони зібрали на неї. Викравши готівку, Маллі уганяє таксі, але зі здивуванням бачить, що на задньому сидіння жінка Джой з дитиною. Прямолінійний адвокат, яка не збиралася вагітніти, Джо страждає від материнства і планує віддати дитину подрузі, яка виростить її як свою.
